A gloriously detailed Victorian-style illustrated poster featuring the word Lick-Spittle, defined as a person who flatters those in power for personal gain. Styled as a page from a Dictionary of Fine Victorian Insults, the artwork depicts a sycophantic scene of two period characters, richly rendered in sepia tones with deep crimson typography and ornate decorative borders. The illustration brims with witty detail — stacked books labelled Favours, Opportunity and Advancement sit alongside notes reading Compliments Cost Nothing and Praise Today, Position Tomorrow. A perfect gift for anyone with a sharp sense of humour. Printed to order on high-quality paper and posted directly to your door.
